Build one small album
with materials you will use.

Four live Amazon UK kits cover quick black-page albums, roomy gift books, a coordinated 8-inch starter set and decoration-only journaling supplies. Start with the format of the finished album, not the biggest accessory count.

Choose the album before the embellishments

The Scrap't 8 × 8-inch kit is the most coherent all-in-one start. DazSpirit is the inexpensive black-page option, Bstorify gives more physical room, and My Artsy Stash is for people who already own a journal or album.

A useful first kit
  1. 01

Pick page size, colour and binding first; a large bundle of stickers cannot fix an album format you dislike.

  2. 02

For irreplaceable photographs, favour photo corners or materials with credible acid-free and lignin-free claims rather than relying on generic glue.

  3. 03

Print duplicates for experimentation and keep originals separately if their long-term preservation matters.

  4. 04

Begin with one event or ten photographs. A small finished album teaches more than an overfilled kit left unopened.
