Safety
Small parts and lighting
These are detailed 14-plus craft models, not children's toys. The finished light circuit is low voltage, but small parts and coin-sized decorations still need care.
- Work over a tray or pale mat so tiny fittings cannot roll away. Keep loose pieces, batteries and trimmed tabs away from young children and pets.
- Do not force a tab that is visibly misaligned. Lightly sand a tight edge only after confirming the correct part and orientation.
- Route LED wires exactly as shown and avoid pinching bare conductors between panels. Test the light before closing the structure.
- Insert batteries with the stated polarity, never mix old and new cells, and remove leaking, hot or damaged batteries immediately.
