Power down before wiring
Low-voltage electronics are forgiving only when polarity, pin numbering, heat and software sources are respected.
- Shut down and unplug the Pi before changing GPIO wiring or fitting cooling and case parts.
- Use the specified USB-C power supply and keep conductive items away from a powered board.
- Read scripts before running them, install updates and never use an exposed relay board to switch household mains.
